A new development version has been released. Changes in FS-UAE 2.5.20dev:
- Use qemu-uae for slirp support.
- Added support for softfloat library (not tested).
- Enabled support for prowizard module ripper.
- New action “action_module_ripper” available for custom input mapping.
- A few other bugfixes.
Starting with this development version, packages will also be available for Ubuntu 14.10 and openSUSE 13.2.
Can’t help but wonder if a PowerMac G5 running FS-UAE 2.5.20dev wouldn’t run OS4.1 the fastest out of the bunch if things were set up right. The PPC code could run directly on the CPU instead of being emulated. Might be worth maintaining a constant 10.5 OS X PPC build for these reasons.
Hi, I replied to a similar question here: http://eab.abime.net/showthread.php?p=977230&postcount=39 🙂 (Short version, it *could* work, but I don’t have sufficient time/interest to try this)
